Overly religious words don’t effectively communicate the truth, but simplicity is. Overly religious activities don’t make you close to God, but personal intimacy is.
Try saying Alhamdulillah when you’re confused, when you lose something, when you’re stressed, when you’re broken or beat, when you fear, when you lose hope, when your heart breaks… Praise the Almighty because if He raises you, nothing can bring you down.
