My cousin in Gaza told me a story that just happened so I thought of sharing with you guys.
My cousin’s friend was on his way back home. While he was walking home, he met 7 of his friends who were sitting outside chatting and having some tea. They invited him to sit down with them; he accepted. Then he received a phone call from his father. His father told him to come back home. He didn’t want to listen to his father and wanted to sit with his friends; typical young man. But then he decided to listen to his father and go back home. He apologized to his friends then started walking towards his house. After walking away, he heard a massive bomb explosion behind him. He ran back to his friends finding them all in pieces…
But Israel.. They were just having some tea…

*gives up on life*
Licia Ronzulli, member of the European Parliament, has been taking her daughter Vittoria to the Parliament sessions for two years now.
Every time this is on my dash, it’s an automatic reblog.
Life. There’s always a way to make it work.
This woman runs PARLIAMENT with a baby in her lap and she’s CLEARLY doing an outstanding job because she’s still there being a total boss two years later, baby still in her lap.
"A baby will destroy your career-"
Are you sure?
Because I’m pretty sure that Licia Ronzulli would laugh at that declaration.
This is so awesome and makes me happy!!! but why is the baby suddenly blonde in the last photo??
It’s easy to lose sight of some of life’s simple pleasures when you’re mired in the politics of a land you’re forbidden to enter. But every now and again we deserve to be reminded of just how beautifully the sea sparkles in the Gaza Strip, or just how high the rainbows over the West Bank’s grassy hills can go, or just how easy it is to visualize the earthy way of life in villages wiped away in 1948.
